India is not only the birth place of many major religions of the world like Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, Sikkhism with numerous affiliated filial traditions, but also a land where other religions like Islam, Christianity, Zoroastrianim and Judaism could establish their roots and find cultural integration within its tradition throughout the history. But so far no academic venture has been undertaken to set all these religions in dialogue so that the mutual appreciation, and esteem among the believers of different religious traditions is strengthened and enhanced leading to a society where harmony and unity always prevails. No one can sufficiently stress the importance of peace in the world and a peaceful world will not be a reality unless there is peace and harmony among the religions.

Inter-religious dialogue invariably promotes understanding between different religions which in turn promotes appreciation for the belief structures and religious world-views of the dialogue partners. When understanding and appreciation between different religions becomes a factual reality, the outcome will be unity and harmony between different religions.

Activities: 
Under the auspices of “Inter-religious Dialogue Cell”, the college invites eminent religious personalities to deliver lectures and conduct colloquiums.
