New Academic year begins at St. Anthony’s PU
College, Kengeri, Bangalore. ‘In life nobody can go back and start
anew but anyone can start today and have a
better tomorrow!’ New academic year began
with lot of newness especially with the new
science stream. The Chief Guest, Charted
Accountant, Mr. Agnel Pereira, inaugurated the
academic year by lighting the lamp in the august
presence of Rev. Fr. Roshan Rosario, Principal
of PU College, Rev. Fr. George Monis, Principal
of Darshan College, Rev. Fr. Joy D’ Souza,
Science Co-Ordinator, Mrs. Suchitra, Vice
Principal, the faculty members, students and
freshers. In his address Mr. Agnel Pereira, CA.,
called upon the students to open up their hearts
and minds to the wisdom and knowledge which is
imparted in the institution in view of the
holistic development and human transformation.
The degree of receptivity will bring in all the
difference in one’s life he said. The Director,
Rev. Fr. Alwyn Dias motivated the students
recalling the motto: Born to win, born to excel,
be the best at St. Anthony’s! He said, make the
best of what you are and what you have, do not
look for what you do not have! The Principal
Rev. Fr. Roshan Rosario, presented a brief
report on the achievements, objectives and goals
of the Institute and later put forth the norms,
rules and regulations of the college. All set in
motion, on the path of progress and success!
