Annual Athletic Meet @ Darshan College, Kengeri, Bangalore.
“Sports teaches you character; it teaches you to know what it feels like to win and lose; it teaches you about life.” To give a push to the inherent talent in sports Darshan College organized a week of inter-class competitions for boys and girls. After manoeuvring the team spirit among students, a day was dedicated to excel and exhibit their athletic spirit. Mr. A C Venkatesh, Secretary, JDS, Bengaluru Division was the Chief Guest and Mr. Gopal Krishna, International Kabaddi Player was the Guest of Honour. Sports makes one physically stronger, emotionally mature, mentally determined, so let sports always be a part of your life was the call of the Chief Guest. Students with bubbling spirit of sportsmanship participated in many sport events and the echo of the same resonated in the college campus. The Mantra of the day was ‘Winning is not everything, but making effort to win is’!
