Industrial Visit: Darshan College

As learning is not confined to the classroom alone, practical knowledge is deemed essential. An industrial visit was organized for Bachelor of Business Administration students to provide insights beyond theoretical learning. Several industries graciously offered their facilities for this purpose.

The first visit was to Featherlite, located in Hejjala, Bangalore, which specializes in extensive manufacturing of furniture and sheet metals for corporate use. This visit provided students with a firsthand experience of the entire production process involved in achieving desired furniture outcomes.

Following this, students visited Canara Paper Packaging in Hegganahalli, Bangalore. Here, they gained valuable insights into the manufacturing of carton boxes with minimal investment in raw materials. The visit took place on June 22, 2024, with 41 students accompanied by Professors Mahalakshmi and Prof. Renuka C.
