Dental Hygiene and checkup @ Darshan College
On 12th September 2024, free dental check-up camp was organized at Seminar Hall by NSS and Red Cross unit of St. Antony’s College in collaboration with Hi Dentic Laboratory. The event was well-coordinated by NSS Program Officer Prof. Balkhis, and Red Cross Coordinator Prof. Leelavati, ensuring smooth organization and active participation of the students and others. Their efforts ensured that the event ran seamlessly and that each participant received the necessary guidance on maintaining oral hygiene.

The event commenced at 10:00 AM, with students, faculty, staff eagerly participating in the health initiative aimed at promoting oral hygiene and dental care. The check-up camp was graced by the presence of the esteemed dignitaries Principal Rev.Fr Joy D’Souza, who was instrumental in bringing such a beneficial event to the campus.

Mr. Kishore, Nishanka and team of doctors Dr. Prajaktha, Dr.Geetha, Dr.Abhishek, Dr.Pragya, provided valuable insights into dental health, the importance of regular check-ups, and tips for maintaining good oral hygiene. The camp saw a significant turnout, with many students receiving free consultations and advice on how to prevent common dental issues such as cavities, gum diseases, and tooth sensitivity.

The check-up camp highlighted the institution’s commitment to the well-being of its students and staff. Principal emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering a healthy lifestyle. They expressed their gratitude to Mr. Kishore and Mrs. Nishanka Kishore for their time and dedication to the event.
