Product Launch @ Darshan College
A product launch is a significant milestone for any product, and it involves much more
than simply introducing a new item to the market. It's a well-planned and coordinated effort to
bring a product to life and make it accessible to consumers. The Product Launch competition at
St. Anthony's College, organized by the Chanakya Management Club, proved to be a unique and
highly engaging event, showcasing the students' skills in innovation and presentation. This
event, held on November 16, 2024, at Pace Bene Hall, gathered students, faculty, and judges to
witness a display of creativity and strategic thinking, as seven teams unveiled their product
ideas. This report provides a comprehensive overview of the event's purpose, highlights,
notable product presentations, judging criteria, and key takeaways from this experience.
Chanakya Management Club at St. Anthony's College understood the importance of this
learning experience and organized the Product Launch competition as a platform for students
to practice these skills. Each team consisted of two students who worked together to develop a
product idea, prepare a presentation, and market their concept to an audience and panel of
judges. A total of seven groups participated, with a wide variety of creative and purposeful
products. The diversity of products presented demonstrated the creativity and innovative
spirit of the students, sparking enthusiasm among the audience and setting a strong example
for future competitions. In the future, collaborations with industry professionals and
promotional events could help bring some of these student-developed products closer to
market readiness.
