Report on GTT placement training
Placement cell in association with GTT Foundation a non-profit organization works and provides skills enhancement programs for the students, had organised a career guidance session for all the final year B.Com, BBA and BCA students. The session was conducted by GTTF trainer Mr. Damodaran. It was a 18 hours employability skills training session which was conducted from 17th October 2024 to 19th October 2024 from 9am to 4 pm each day. The intention of this training is to provide the students the required soft skills and employability skills which is very mandatory for starting their career after graduation. The training program included soft skills, aptitude, resume building, public speaking, communication, mock interview and mock GD. Students were engaged with several activities to give practical knowledge about the concepts and also to give them the actual picture of the real corporate world. These soft skills are very important for getting a good employment opportunity. So the trainer concentrated on practical teaching through different activities and games. It was a very fruitful experience for the students who not only learnt new concepts and skills but also enjoyed the process of learning the same through activities and games.

The resource person Mr. Damodaran was very keen on giving the students a fun-loving learning experience. Students not only learned the skills but also enjoyed the process of learning. They had a very good learning experience though the activities and games. Their confidence was increased after attending the 3 days of training. They got an idea on how to proceed with improvising their skills and prepare for the corporate world.
On the last day of program mock GD and mock Interview were conducted with the students to give them the glims of actual interview and GD. Later on all the queries of the students were resolved by the resource person. The resource person was so interactive with the students that the 3 days training session went on smoothly and was very interesting. The concepts covered in those 3 days of training were goal setting, SWOT analysis, communication skills, conflict resolution, collaboration, accommodation, compromising, people skills, adaptability, work ethics, resilience, time management, stress management, flexibility, innovation and initiative, team work, employability skills etc
