FDP on application of SPSS and AMOS in data analysis @ Darshan College
‘Research without Data is Zero. Data without Analysis and Interpretation is Zero and Analysis and Interpretation without Statistics is Zero’. With this quote, we witnessed the Faculty Development Programme that intended to empower the aspiring minds on how to pivot concepts and ideas into great money spinners. The program aimed at acquainting the participants with simple and exhaustive ways of data analysis through interactive sessions along with theoretical learning and their application in research to enhance the quality of the work of the researchers. This event witnessed the presence of a Galaxy of Intellectuals comprising of the Chief guests as well as the Key Note Speakers - Dr. Krishna, Honorable Director, Don Bosco Group of Institutions; Prof. Rajeshwari T, Honorable President of Primax Foundation; Dr. K V Ramanathan, Vice-President, Primax Foundation; Dr. V Selvaraj - Honorable Secretary of Primax Foundation along with Rev. Fr. George Monis, Honorable Principal, Darshan College. Rev. Dr. Fr. Anil Sequeira, Vice Rector, Darshan College of Theology, Kengeri delivered the Presidential address. The Resource Person for two days’ Technical Session was Dr. Ravanan. R, Honorable Principal, Presidency College, Chennai. Since innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower, the Darshanites promised that in the coming years too such events will be organized with some more innovative ideas to nourish everyone’s minds with more knowledge.
