Kannada Rajyotsava Celebration @ St. Anthony’s
PU College
with this burning spirit and zeal the St.
Anthony’s PU community celebrated 63rd Kannada
Rajyotsava. The Chief Guest for the occasion was
Mr. Gopinath, Chairman of Sparsha, an Institute
for all. Gracing the event by lighting the lamp,
respected Chief Guest, gave a call to all that
language can be upheld and protected only by
education. President of the event, Rev. Dr. Fr.
Alwyn Dias said that it is a celebration of
every Kannadiga, who has the responsibility to
keep up the purity of the language and maintain
its sanctity. We should be proud about our rich
heritage and not be ashamed of it, striving to
keep it alive to the future generations was his
call for all. Students put their steps together
for dance and other cultural programs. Pretty
little angels from ‘Sparsha’, a home for all,
joined the College Students to express their
love towards Kannada. Prof. Manjula, Prof.
Ambarish and Prof. Bharati organised the event.
