A Trip to Talakadu by Darshanites
Friends become our chosen family; good
times and crazy friends make the best memories.
With these positive and adventurous
vibes, the Final Year students of Darshan
College along with the faculty members enjoyed a
day out to Talakadu, Gaganachukki and
Bharachukki falls. The temples of 6th century
dug-up by Archeological Survey of India since
1970-80s are a pride to the nation. The
backwater facility at Talakadu drew the
attention of everyone. The Bharachukki falls is
wider than Gaganachukki falls and has a narrow
path of stairs carved through the rocks. The
former is also known for the coracle ride that
takes travellers up to the mouth of the
waterfall. The Gaganachukki falls is famous for
old dargah and watchtower. A glimpse at these
places in monsoon is a bliss, as the waterfall
would be awesome for visitors. The Final year
students and the Faculty had memories behind,
friends beside and dreams before them.
