Triumph of the Anthonians
Winners are not people who never fail; but people who never quit. The consistent practice along with strong determination blended with will power led the Students of St. Anthony’s Institutions to attain glorious feat. The foundation for marathon of Victories began with Sachin Poovaiah who represented the Indian Kabaddi Team for World Cup held in Malaysia and returned with Gold medal. The Anthonians under the able guidance and training of Prof. Srinidhi Siddharth, Director of Physical Education, brought laurels to the Institute. 8 Gold medals were bagged in Taekwondo and 9 in Judo apart from silver and bronze in Bangalore South District level tournaments. The Kabaddi Teams of our PU and Degree College won the first and the third prize respectively in a tournament organized by PES University. Two of our Students were victorious in the debate competition held in Kengeri First Grade College. Victory is reserved for those who have will to pay its price.
