Anthonian Athletic Meet @ St. Anthony’s PU
College “Champions keep playing, until they get
it right.” The Anthonians played and proved
that they are the champions in different sport
fields. The spirit of sportsmanship among the
Anthonians led them to participate, to compete,
to carry on, to keep going, to win and to
champion an event or the trophies. The newly
extended and developed college play ground was
inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Alwyn Dias, the Director
and the Principals Rev. Fr. George Monis, Rev.
Fr. Nitin D’Souza and Rev. Fr. Roshan Rosario
hailed the opportunities provided to the budding
champions. Graceful and well synchronized march
past captured the eyes of everyone. The lighting
of the torch and oath taking ceremony elevated
the spirit of sportsmanship. Anthonians kept on
playing Volley ball, Throw ball, Basketball,
Football, Cricket, Shot-put, Kho-Kho, Shuttle,
Tug of War and Athletics until they saluted
singing. “We are the champions, we need to go
on and keep on fighting till the end... We are
the champions my friends!”
