BLOOD DONATION FESTIVAL @ ST. ANTHONY’S , KENGERI
The long awaited day was dawned on 12th September for the staff and students of the twin colleges. St. Anthony’s Institutions with the help of Indian Red Cross Society successfully organized the Blood Donation Festival. Doctors and activists from the Indian Red Cross Society arrived in the morning with all their instruments and beds. The blood transfusion began at 9 am with a prayer. The director of the Institutions welcomed them heartily. In the first attempt 42 units of blood collected. The blood donors were given certificates of appreciation. The college was given a certificate of recognition for conducting the festival. A few members of Shanthi Sadhana and Deena Seva Ashram too generously came forward to donate blood.
