Cookery Competition:“La cuisine” @ St. Anthony’s PU & Darshan College, Kengeri, Bangalore.
“The greatest wealth is Health.” This is due to the reason that every time we consume food, we are either feeding disease or fighting it. In this regard, Our Anthonian and Darshanite Chefs thought like Scientists, organized like the Accountants, plated like the Artists and cooked like Grandmas - a variety of cuisines which were organic and had contributed to bring some kind of food revolution in this fast food era. 27 teams from PU Section and 25 teams from Degree Section took part in the competition. The four versatile and expert Jury members Mrs. Jasmine D’ Souza and Mr. Joseph D’ Souza for 25 teams of Degree section and Prof. Yogananda of GSG College, Ramanagar and Mrs. Shantala for 27 teams of PU students, adjudicated the recipes made by the participants. The Jury members were very fascinated with the Authenticity and deliciousness of the cuisines. This was the most memorable day as Food was the ingredient that bounded us together. May the passion for cooking increase as it brings taste to tongue, beauty to life and wealth to health!
