“Campus to Corporate” Industrial Visit by the Students of Darshan College, Kengeri, Bangalore.
“To acquire knowledge, one must study; to acquire wisdom, one must observe.” It is rightly said that ‘observe & understand’ is better than ‘read & learn’. In this pursuit, Darshan College with the collaboration of Primax Foundation organized a day’s Industrial Visit to Coca Cola Beverages, Bidadi; Britannia Pvt. Ltd., Bidadi and the Deccan Herald Printing Press, Kumbalagudu. Students were amazed at the speed at which the process occurred and how the automated systems could be set according to requirements of the company without involving much human intervention. The students were briefed about the journalistic experiences and how a ‘journalist must be ready to fire a bullet and receive a bullet’. The visit was a success as the students were enlightened and gained practical exposure about the particularities of the Food and Beverages as well as Print World uncovered and unleashed.
