DEMOCRACY
PREVAILS @ ST. ANTHONY’S INSTITUTIONS, KENGERI
The Student Council Elections were held at
Darshan and St. Anthony’s P.U. Colleges on 20th
June, 2012. Hectic campaigning by the candidates
preceded the elections. Vishal, Rohith, Thrupti
and Sindhu for PUC and Siddiqa, Jyothi George &
Sungjemnaro Kichu were candidates.
Rohith Aloysius was elected president and Sindhu
vice president of St. Anthony’s P.U. College for
the Academic year 2012-2013. Siddiqa Taranum was
elected president and Sungjemnaro Kichu elected
vice president of Darshan College for the
academic year 2012-2013.
The director of the institutions announced the
election results at a function. Ms. Sheetal
Sharma & Ms. Suchitra were the returning
officers for degree and PUC respectively. Dr.
B.S.Talwadi, Principal of PU College and Fr.
Veerus Concessao, Principal of Degree College
administered the oath of office.
