Freshers' Day Celebration @ St. Anthony's PU College, Kengeri, Bangalore
It is said that a good start signifies a great end. The first day of college is the start of a whole new chapter of every person’s life. Freshers have stepped into St. Anthony’s PU college with fresh thoughts, noble aims, high hopes and aspirations. To generate the feeling of fraternity, to create a friendly atmosphere, to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence, the super cool seniors organized fresher’s day for the budding juniors. With a little lilting music, new faces, smiles all along, resounding laughter, the campus was all decked up for the day to express its welcome to the new batch of students. The seniors were enthralled by mind blowing performances of dances, songs and mimicry. All events were artistically and beautifully presented.

Rev. Fr. Roshan Rosario, Principal of St. Anthony’s P.U. College, introduced Rev. Fr. Dancy Sunil Martis, Head Master of St. Anthony’s Church School who was the Chief Guest of the day. Fr. Dancy, in his special address stressed the importance on idolizing God, Parents and Teachers in one’s life. “Discipline and value based education is essential for the students and they should have a focus and work hard to attain success.”He added. The first years responded very actively and participated with full zeal and great enthusiasm. Lucky Stars of the day were being felicitated. It was a festive fervour amongst the entire student community, fresher’s and seniors alike, a warm and friendly atmosphere with smiling faces all around. Viva Anthonians!
