St. Anthony’s College: Newness of the new Academic Year 2015-16

It is said well begun is half done. True to this spirit St. Anthony’s PU College inaugurated the new academic year on St. Anthony’s Feast Day the 13th June 2015. The ceremony began with the prayer dance by the students, invoking the blessings of the Almighty. Rev. Fr. Robin Victor D’Souza, the Administrator of Holy Trinity Province, Karnataka was the Chief Guest. In his most-inspiring and motivating key note address he exhorted the students to be the “SMART Generation” with specific achievable time-bound goals, of course with direction, dedication, disciple and determination. Rev. Fr. Roshan Rosario, the Principal piloted & proclaimed the holistic programme of the year, welcomed the freshers and congratulated the distinction students of the first year. The Director of St. Anthony’s Institutions Rev. Fr. Alwyn Dias introduced and welcomed the excellent qualified new faculty members, indeed he has done “poaching” in the selection and election of the new staff. The best example of “poaching” Rev. Fr. Nitin D’Souza, an excellent faculty graduated from Bombay University was welcomed to the family of St. Anthony’s Institutions. St. Anthony’s & Darshan College ever shines with best of results as 28 Students of B.Com & BBM have topped the “Top 25” of Bangalore University. Congrats to Rev. Fr. George Monis, the Vice-Principal, the Principal, the Staff and the Students. Long live St. Anthony’s, May St. Anthony intercede for us!
