New Academic Year @ Darshan College, Kengeri,

“The Secret of getting ahead is getting
started”. With this auspicious thought in mind
Darshan College commenced the new academic year
2017-18. Symbolising the new beginning the lamp
was lit, paving a way for B.Com, BCA and BBA
courses. The Director, Rev. Fr. Alwyn Dias
introduced the faculty members and then called
upon the students to attain the Academic
Excellence and spoke on the positive side of
discipline which facilitates every student to do
the right thing at the right time in the right
place. The Principal, Rev. Fr. George Monis,
briefed the students on the holistic growth
through the curricular, co-curricular and
extra-curricular activities. He reaffirmed: “We
believe in building character, inspiring minds
and enriching experiences which lasts a life
time”. The HOD’s of Commerce Prof. Basanti, of
Management Prof. Chandrika, of Computer
Application Prof. Divyashree presented the whole
academic programme, it’s content and it’s
demands. The Vice-Principal Rev. Fr. Nitin
D’Souza was remembered with gratitude for all
his kind services and with ovation all wished
him every best in the future endeavours as
Provincial Secretary and Province Administrator
of Bombay, Maharastra. Thus, the College portals
gave a vibrant start for the bright and glorious
academic days ahead!
