Singing Competition @ Darshan College, Kengeri,
Bangalore.
The month of August, resounds and
radiates a strong sense of patriotism keeping
the memory of the great sacrifices of our
national leaders and our elder brothers and
sisters. Every patriotic song expresses this
theme so vehemently that it calls for unity and
harmony among the population. To create this
sense of belongingness and oneness of the nation
and of the unity in diversity the College
organized Patriotic song Singing Competition.
The Principal, Rev. Fr. George Monis, warmly
welcomed the Chief Guest Mr. Prashanth M Agera,
from Kengeri Satellite Town, a renowned
personality in the field of Music & Art. The
Science Co-ordinator, Rev. Fr. Joy D’ Souza,
joined the team to judge the competition. The
Duets and the groups recalled the lovely
memories of the history of our nation and sang
melodiously to the best of their capacities. Mr.
Mr. Prashanth M Agera while congratulating the
participants said: “Some will win and some will
learn but one should not loose heart in
competition. Let music be a passion, more than a
hobby, for it is the language the heart everyone
understands”. May the Spirit of Patriotism grow
and find an expression in us by keeping the
memory alive!
